We received two voice mail messages from (703) 828-0614 and one message from (703) 665-7660. The first thick-accented caller(s) did not leave name, only a phone number that we (or our attorney) needed to call back immediately. We were told that IRS had a tax fraud tax evasion case against us, and that our sheriff's department had been notified. If we did not call back, he "wished us luck". Third message was from "Kenneth Matthews" who had a very thick Indian accent. Mr. Matthews (odd name for someone with that accent), "Senior Investigator with IRS / Badge #7997025" was even more threatening and demanding. We have not called back, and have reported these idiots to tigta.com. All messages from these terrible people were very threatening, disturbing and upsetting. If only we could personally track down these scum bags!!!!!!! What they are doing is terribly wrong and they need suffer the consequences.
"Office Joseph Garner" called me. Thick accent calling to convict me of tax fraud. Super mean and incredibly rude. Had personal information about me but would tell me nothing about him except his name (Joseph Garner) and badge number (101694) (which upon researching do not exist).
Same here. Quoted an IRS "badge number". Basically claimed that there would be a lien on all my assets and that I needed to show up at the IRS with cash in hand! Report these scum to www.tigta.gov.
