SOBs! I received this "IRS putting a lien on my assets, if I didn't clear up my debts with the IRS" message 3 times today. At first, scared the crap out of me. I called the number, got a Indian accented person. I happen to be Indian and the caller recognized that and started asking me questions regarding my nationality and family history. No reference to the message. Quickly told me that I was cleared from this threat (in his broken english!) and then continued to ask me personal questions (which I refused to answer). He got very upset when I told him I caught on that it was a scam. Stupid people!!
Caller ID Says Virginia. Obvious IRS scam with a prerecorded message threatening a lien on the property. The recorded message was hilarious. .. instead of saying my actual name the recording actually said "your name" and "your address." I hate these low life's.
