Received a phone message about I am being suit by a doctor this morning.
First, the heavy Indian accent woman did not mention name
Second, I don't owe any medical bill,
Third, if affidavit has been sent, the party should not contact me by any way.
Never call back for these kind of message.
Just received two phone calls from this number today, from a woman and man. Both claimed to be from the IRS but could not provide any proof. Both had Indian accents, which caused suspicion on my part. That's not to say the IRS does not have people native to India working for them, but the fact that they both got very irritated when I would not provide any personal information - and kept threatening that I would face legal consequences if I did not - was the tip off.
This is a sham. DO NOT provide any personal information. If you are concerned, call the actual IRS. I am sure they will tell you whether you are being investigated or not.
Report the Calls to the real IRS here:
•report the incident to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at 800-366-4484.
•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
