Been my experience that it doesn't work unless you call the Do Not Call number every 6 months or so. Got this call tonight on my cell phone which is also registered and I just ignored it.
Called several times, including today, Sunday. Answering machine picked up. Message by a foreign woman speaking in English said "Thank you for calling. One of our representatives will be with you shortly, " The another lady came on and asked for my wife by name.
Caller ID said Duke Energy. I was on a call I wanted to be on so did not take it. They left a message on my machine but it was a "blank" one. Called back the number and said this number could not be reached. Very odd. If it was about abortion, that is VERY strange.
Called several times to my landline; Caller ID said Duke Energy. When I answered a female asked for me by first name. I said, "This is she." She hung up. Tried to call back using a cell phone and got a message that the number is not in service.
