appears to be a company that is selling some kind of extended warantee on cars, based on the recording you hear when you dial the number back. Should not be calling me at all since I am on the Do Not Call List, both at the federal and state level. The recording does not identify the company name. Caller ID simply shows "Huntersville, NC" but the phone number could be totally bogus.
They left a message identifying the kind of car I own (creepy) and saying it didn't look like I had extended the warranty. Woman then asked how many miles were on the car, somehow not realizing after "Leave a message" and a beep that she was talking to a machine. Call ended. I did used to live in Charlotte; don't know if that has anything to do with how they had the info on my car.
answered this call, fellow said he noticed that my warranty on my car had expired and that I could get one from his company (which he said so fast at the beginning of the call that I didn't hear it) and then I asked who was this? and he hung up. Weird.
