appears to be a company that is selling some kind of extended warantee on cars, based on the recording you hear when you dial the number back. Should not be calling me at all since I am on the Do Not Call List, both at the federal and state level. The recording does not identify the company name. Caller ID simply shows "Huntersville, NC" but the phone number could be totally bogus.
OMG!! Is this another case of Gender Bias? Classification by the sound of a voice? Everyone knows its impossible to tell anything about a person by the sound of their voice...... Okay, who has the Race card today...let's pitch it out there so we can be fair and unbiased to all people and not just certain select groups.
I received a call from this number last night. The guy said, "Congratulations! You've won the lottery". Knowing this was a "bogus" call, I responded, "What lottery?" He said, "THE lottery - uh, the California lottery." I said, "I don't think so", and hung up as he was saying, "But don't you want to claim your prize?".
Foreign sounding male with lots of noise and talking in the background. Robo call pause between answering and his talking about my car. I hung up without saying anything. I am on the DNC list.
Have had numerous calls from this number. Yesterday I called the number back and pressed 2 to be removed from their call list. Then it asks to press 3 to confirm. When they called again today, I spoke to the caller and told him I had requested to be removed. He stated it wasn't them because they don't have that feature! WTH!
He is trying to sell extended warranties on a vehicle I haven't owned for 7 years! I am on federal and state "do not call lists". I have reported dozens of these calls to the FCC and they do nothing!
