appears to be a company that is selling some kind of extended warantee on cars, based on the recording you hear when you dial the number back. Should not be calling me at all since I am on the Do Not Call List, both at the federal and state level. The recording does not identify the company name. Caller ID simply shows "Huntersville, NC" but the phone number could be totally bogus.
Received a call, man stated that my car Honda and correct year I had not extended the warranty. It is only 1 1/2 years old why would I need to extend the warranty?
I asked if he works for Honda and he hung up. Called the number back, got his voice on machine 1 to speak to someone about the warranty, 2 to be put on DNC List.
Very bad way of doing business, refusing to identify themselves and the company they work for.

I had this number call me for the first time ever today. I wrecked my car a few weeks ago. This man asked for me specifically by first name only. I said "this is she". The man told me he was calling me about my 'auto information' and something about 'A.C.L'-idk, could be name of company, who knows- NOTHING more specific. He didnt tell me this until after he asked me if i was still living at my last address, he knew my last address specifically. When i told him i dont live in NC anymore and that i live in S.C., he replied "SOUTH Carolina, HMMMM??!". Just like he was surprised to hear I was no longer at my last address, and then asked me if i had auto insurance yet and when i told him no that i havent even gotten a new car yet, he follows with "Ohhh, alright then!"-IMMEDIATELY hung up. No 'have a good day' or anything else. I just bought a car 2 days ago after a total loss. I called the number back and the same man (im pretty sure-same voice) answered with 'hi, is ____ (my name, first only again) available?". I said "this is she i just received a call from this number and was hung up on pretty quick, I'd like to know what exactly this call is pertaining to". He said something again about my auto information. I replied with " that doesnt tell me much, id like to know what this call is about specifically, what auto information exactly?"... the man said "well, thats what i was saying. thats exactly what i was just saying. you have a good day"...... so i hung up this time. This call was FARRR too weird! I never got his name, he never stated his name or said anything more than 'auto information, auto information'. All i know is that i feel unsafe that this man knows my info and basically refused to give me any of his and wanted to get off the phone before i got any further inquiring.
