NC Troopers Association. Asked for me by name. Started immediately into his started his sales pitch. I had to ask him to stop 3 times before he actually did. Told him I wasn't interested and to remove my number. He said he would and then started again so I hung up on him.
I wouldn't have picked it up but it was a local number.
Asked for my Husband by 1st name as if he was 'familiar' with him I told him that he was not in & then he said he was actually calling for either of us . He said he was raising money on behalf of the Highway Patrol for their deceased members & their surviving Family members & also Needy Children ! I told him I was not able to participate & he became Very Pushy & I told him not to call me again & Hung-up.
Asked for husband by first name as if he knew him, but then said he would talk to the lady of the house and gave a speel about raising money for the Troopers Association of NC. We asked him if it was the same as the Highway Patrol of NC and he didnt answer clearly...just kept on with asking for pledge. Of course, he will want your address and other information in order to "send you something special". When asked for number to call him back at, he gave a different number than what he called from; 800-446-7334.
