Clue 1 of bogus call. A guy's voice said, "Catherine?" which is not my name. Clue 2 of bogus call. I hit Mute on my phone. The guy repeated "Catherine?" a couple more times, then hung up.

Spam - Asked for the wrong person and then says maybe you can help them. Goes into a pitch about sending you a sponsorship package to give back to veterans. I asked how he got my number and he hung up.
called and I answered, was a robotic call though it sounded quite real. Wanting donations for Veterans. Said I already donate and I'm not giving a strange number my address. He repeated himself about a minimum donation of 15 dollars. I hung up.
