Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

This number 704-967-7888 has called me twice.  I have family in NC so I answered it thinking it could be one of them with a new number and no one said anything.

This number calls my husband multiple times a day.  I called back on my phone and there's an option to put yourself on their do not call list, but you have to press 9 fast or it hangs up.  Waiting to see if it actually works.

Called, I answered.  Whoever hung up.
