I received another robocall from some miscreant threatening to take me to the "Federal Claims Courthouse" if I don't call them back. This idiot caller thinks he can scare me. As always, whenever they leave evidence on my voicemail, I always make an effort to eliminate calls like this. I saved this "message" and will do whatever it takes to make the authorities and the public aware of this scam. Life is complicated enough without having to deal with creeps like this. Furthermore, I Googled "US Federal Claims Courthouse" and FYI here is what was posted:
"I received a call from your court saying that I owe money. Is this call legitimate?"
"No. The U.S. Court of Federal Claims DOES NOT call, email, or send letters requesting money or personal identifying information."
This is obviously a SCAM. If they call you, just hang up. The Caller ID identity shows the call coming from Columbus, Georgia.
They left a message on my voicemail. Most was cut off, but it is a robocall telling me I will be arrested because there is "tax fraud against me," unless I call them. If arrested, I'll go to federal claims court, because that's where a federal criminal trial would obviously be held. I love these calls, so creative and accurate
Called and left voice saying to call back immediately regarding your (funny they don't mention a name or who they are calling for) federal tax fraud. Call back before it goes to federal court or before you get arrested. Very poor quality pre-recorded message. They are just phone phishing for a victim. No one should call them back. It's against the law to threaten arrest in an attempt to collect a debt. SCAMMERS!!!!!
same as others have already reported - very poor quality message left on voice mail that a federal tax fraud has been filed against me ( they never mention my name) and a warning that I should call this number immediately.
