I received another robocall from some miscreant threatening to take me to the "Federal Claims Courthouse" if I don't call them back. This idiot caller thinks he can scare me. As always, whenever they leave evidence on my voicemail, I always make an effort to eliminate calls like this. I saved this "message" and will do whatever it takes to make the authorities and the public aware of this scam. Life is complicated enough without having to deal with creeps like this. Furthermore, I Googled "US Federal Claims Courthouse" and FYI here is what was posted:
"I received a call from your court saying that I owe money. Is this call legitimate?"
"No. The U.S. Court of Federal Claims DOES NOT call, email, or send letters requesting money or personal identifying information."
This is obviously a SCAM. If they call you, just hang up. The Caller ID identity shows the call coming from Columbus, Georgia.
Robo message of very poor quality from Steve Hart of the Internal Revenue Service indicating the call was about a tax fraud claim and to call the number before the case was transferred to federal court or an arrest was made. Knowing it was a scam or phishing call, I just deleted it.
Message left on my mobile telling me to call back at that number as they'd received a legal petition notice about a tax fraud against me. Am up to date on my taxes & the IRS doesn't just call -- they send out letters! Will be sure to report this one to the do not call registry & block further calls.
It says that they are the IRS and they have received legal notice concerning a tax fraud. So before this case goes to The Federal Claims Court before I get arrested please call immediate this number as soon as possible. In the first sentence there was something said that was blocked out and then it continued.
