These people were stalking us too.. File a police report then give the report number to your phone company.. They will go in and block the Real number they are calling from..
This number has been calling daily after I told the number from Rohnert Park, Ca to stop calling. Today, "Jeremy" told me he was with Renewable Energy Resources. Told me he would keep calling until he talked to the home owner.
My experience is much like everyone else's. They call up to eight times a day. When I finally got to speak to the buttstain and tell him to stop calling me , he talked over me and then stated that I didn't want to listen to him because I was uneducated.after I hung up on him he called me back and referred to me by my first name in a taunting manner. These kooks are beyond your average telemarker annoyances, they are telemarketing terrorists.
The new wrinkle with this caller, Renewable Energy, is that somehow they are altering their called-from number, which is 707-200-7673, to add a 1 at the end, so that it's not recognized as a blocked number by my phone service provider, and so the calls continue. We've asked multiple times to be taken off their call list.
Sadly when you maintain your own phone server, it is extremely easy to change your outbound caller id when using digital phone lines (Voice T1's). So this lame Solar company just keeps picking a different number in and around Sonoma county to use as the number they call from. I don't know of a way to stop this. But thankfully my android phone supports a blacklist so I have just blacklisted 707-200-* for now.
