You are 100% correct. I actually was hired by a Temp company to work there, and that is what they were doing. They are on an automatic dialer that calls people all over the states. The "Energy Choice Assistance", is just one of many "Campaigns" they have. I only stayed through orientation, and a little training...enough to know this company was full of sh*t! The trainer didn't even know the name of the company! When asked, we were told it changes..WHAT?
What kind of company changes it's name all the time? A SCAMMING company that's who. I got out of there as fast as I could, I didn't want to be there when the FBI raided the building..lol. They Scam AND Slam consumers!

I don't know what you guys are all talking about. i got a call from this number a little while back and provided them with the info they needed and they helped me sign up with a great discount program. i got a gift card in the mail and saved about 40 bucks on my electric bill the last couple of months. didn't cost me a dime and didn't have to provide any personal info. sounds like you guys are missing out.

i agree with phillypete. these people called me and were very helpful. i have been saving greatly on both my electric and gas bill since they helped me. times are tough and saving about $50 on my bill each month is a huge help.

i got a call from this number and was a little skeptical myself but they were very knowledgeable and helpful. got myself a discount on my utility bill now and while all of you guys are complaining and paying more for your gas im saving a good amount of money each month.
