I also got a call on my cell phone from this number. I don't know that area code--is it somewhere in Texas? No message left. Wondering who they are and how they got my number.
I just got a call from them too -- and guess who's paying for it? Yep, yours truly. There's a reason this is illegal! I'm on the phone now waiting for my wireless provider's customer service dept. to answer the phone. They're the ones who need to deal with this, if I ask them to credit me for the minutes wasted on this illegal telemarketing call, maybe they will agree. Please call your provider too -- this is unacceptable.
What a complete crock of cr*p! On my cell phone too, and my pay-as-you-go service won't give me credit (virgin Mobile, thank you for the non-help!) I guess my fault? as didn't check recent calls BEFORE calling voice mail! Now have to do this every time phone beeps with message?!?!?!?!??!??!
So much for help from my wireless provider -- Thanks, Cingular! Customer rep said he couldn't do anything, and his supervisor denied that the FCC regulation referenced by Matt above was even still valid. She said those calls were now allowed. What a joke -- this is Cingular BUSINESS customer service, too. I don't intend to leave it at this, and neither should you guys. WE'RE PAYING FOR THESE CALLS, people. Call your wireless providers.
I got a call from this number, i was in class so i didn't answer. I looked the number up online and it said IOWA?? Then I found this website, its great. But, how the hell did they get my cell?
