These are scammers apparently out of India. They also use these other numbers for caller ID:
820-654-8921; 302-722-4574, 722-524-8120, 870-639-4404, 786-358-5639.
They use all sorts of tactics to obtain personal information. Best is to block all these numbers on your line. Also complain to your local attorney generals office if the volume of calls is such that it can be considered harassment.
Receive phone calls from this number on my cell...when I answer, it is all garbled and a lot of noise in the backgroud. I say hello three times and then after the third time I say hello, "they" hang up. Today when they called, someone did say hello after I said hello the second time. I could tell the person had an accent and also the person was a male...he said something but I did not understand due to background noise as well as static on their end. This is very annoying and I don't want them calling me on my cell or at home.
These people have called me at least 6 times on my cell today alone. I've asked them each time to stop calling and delete my number. Sometimes it comes in under "unknown" but it's the same person over and over again. It's some financial company - they guy has a very thick Indian accent so it's hard to get the correct name of the company. He starts with something about approving my auto loan.
NOT! I don't have or need an auto loan. Please make this stop!!
