they've only called twice on this number the first time they picked up but it was hard to understand them due to their thick accent, maybe indian or chinese? but now i'm getting calls from other unlisted, disconnected numbers... companies can sell your number/info to other companies for a profit the other number that they called me at was
7225248120, they called at 6:10 this morning
be careful not to answer calls like these for longer than you have to, they can charge you for up to ten dollars a minute.
I have received this and other numbers repeatedly starting Sept. 29th through today. I did call Quest and have blocked most of them, but there are still a few getting through. One number, 598-127-1300, I cannot block as it is a cell phone. I wonder how they get our numbers? I traced one phone number to a company called Oystar North America in Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky (859-341-0400) and when I called, the lady answering said she had no way of knowing who had called and promptly hung up.
Just be careful how you handle these calls. The more attention they can get from you, the better. I if you can, call your phone carrier and get "call rejection" put on your phone. It's about $5.00 a month and you can discontinue it when you think they have stopped. Again, I would caution you that if you tee them off, they'll only escalate their calling and it could become a nightmare for you.
Very good advice. I have received so many calls since last Thursday, I can't count. The 302-722-4574 kept coming up as did the 712-930-4871 number. I have them blocked, but some are still getting through. Keep track of the numbers, date and times called. The attorney general's office in your state should be able to take complaints.
