Ditto Sugar Land report above: Called my cell. Did not answer. Also received a call immediately afterwards from 713-403-2001. I'm a bit reluctant to report either number because it might have been my dermatologist's office callingm me back. Sometimes outgoing numbers register on caller i.d.'s differently than the incoming numbers that we dial. I will check back here and see if anyone else reports this number and and was expecting a call from their derm too!
Just got this call and they said that they had a message from the Texas Departemt of Public Safety. I am an isurance agent, so I pressed one in an attempt to find out what company was low enough to do this. All they would tell me is that they work for several different agencies. I asked what the name of the calling agency was and they hung up.
Just got this call, and it was like John's. Automated insurance [***] recording. Pressed 3 to take my number off the list, but we'll see if that actually happens.
When I answer, no reply, then hangs up. I call back and every time I keep pressing 3 to be added to the "Do not call" list, but they continue to call. I've also called back several times to be added to the list, by a live person, but they continue to call. A few people hung up on me (one of my pet peeves), but I called back, and once I got the same person that hung up on me...I was able to let some stress out this time! She said to give it some time to remove our number, but 3 weeks later, they're still calling daily. I don't even pick up the phone anymore. Not sure what to do now.
When they call you should call back and have fun with them...see how long you can make the call last. Try to make them smile because lourd knows they are retarded people that are not capable of getting a real job-but hey---who's says you can't have some laughs at their expense!
