They hung up when I answered. I called back to see who it was. There was a long silence and then a beeping sound like a phone off the hook. Gave up after trying twice. I have been getting a lot of these calls lately from different numbers.
If you have a blocker or Time Warner Voice Zone, you can block these idiots that use the number "1" as the first digit of their spoofed phone number by entering the wildcard ***-1**-****. Most of them get nailed by nomo, but this takes care of virtually all of them. These types of numbers are usually always used by scammer contractors.
