Caller ID said 'URGENT' left a long message on my answering machine about AARP and some other organization in conjunction with your health care provider for seniors 65 and up to receive a free medical alert kit along with a $3000 gift certificate to your local supermarket-- all of this free and no S&H charges!! Press various numbers to connect with the number! Number got blocked.
When I answer the phone the voice on the other end says " Don't hang up, this is not a bill call " I of course hang up. I get these calls about three times a week.
ID'd as "Urgent". Male voice saying it was not a sales call and then said I was entitled to some sort of alarm device since I was at risk as an elder. "Just press 1" and I would receive $3K in grocery coupons. What's the point of a do not call request?
Received YET another call from 714-233-2136. Caller ID said, "URGENT". Yeah, right I am going to pick up on an "URGENT" call. Listen you telemarketers, spammers and evil doers, people have caller ID because of your misuse of the telephone. You have no idea what you are in for.
