Got the same thing the supposed credit bearu saying they've filed a lawsuit against me and that I'll be arrested at home or work. I do have a credit card, but pay my payments. I called and they asked for my name, so I said no you're a scam and they hung up. Should I be worried about this?
It's a SCAM. got some automated message from some lady claiming she's with the credit bureau and that I will be arrested. I don't have any issues with any credit, I pay all my bills on time. Also, she said it was my final notice, okay well I never received a first notice. I can't believe people like this who take advantage of innocent, vulnerable people. Makes me so mad.
I just got a call from this number. It was the same recording as abovw: she was from "the credit bureau", this is my final notice and that I will be arrested.
If you call that number, they ID themselves as National Credit Bureau. If you ask them where they are located, they simply hang up. Pretty sure this is an off-shore Caribbean scam of some sort. Threatening call regarding a final notice and I will be arrested at home or at my work place. She ended call with "See you in court"... I called back to inquire about the threat ~ She hung up on me ~ All other calls were not picked up...
