Called pretending to be from PACIFIC ENERGY tossing out a lot of phrases that real government programs use like ENERGY AUDIT, GREEN ENERGY, rebates for energy upgrades, etc, LYING saying they're not selling anything, pretending to be a government program. I asked for a number to call back & they said 800-392-4448 which I googled and it is PACIFIC HOME REMODELING which has obviously hired TELEMARKETERS to use MISREPRESENTATION, SCARE TACTICS AND FRAUD to sell home remodeling. Pacific Home Remodeling has an F rating with Better Business Bureau. There really is a PACIFIC ENERGY CENTER a division of PG&E but that is NOT what this co. really is. They are impersonating real energy companies and government entities to make sales.
They keep calling me. Phone rings two times and then they hang up. No message. When I try to return the call their mailbox is full.
How can we stop this type of harrassment??
My call came in about an hour agao, with OUT OF AREA but it is local number. Rang twice went to answer and no one there. Thanks for this service so we can see if we are the only ones.
Man from this # just called me an hour ago... asked for me by my name. And then said he was calling with Pacific Energy & asked me if I ever took care of getting the outside of my house painted. I told him I didn't need my house painted. He hung up. Obviously a sales call. But kind of scared me by asking for my name & having very generic information.
Was on my caller ID when I came home tonight. Of course, they left no message. These number are nothing but scumbag telemarketers and are all up to no good. I don't answer any of them!
