I got a call saying I have criminal charges and I need to call the State office at 714-482-3318. I work in an attorney's office and now this is false. Who do I report this too?
I just got a call from this number on my cell and at my place of employment. This guy had a very heavy accent and said I needed to call this number back and ask for a Peter Morris. He also said that he was from the State Attorney's Office and this was about a legal matter and to call ASAP.
I received a call from a foreign caller (possibly Indian accent) saying I have criminal charges against me and I need or my attorney need to contact their office. I did apply for payday loan & started receiving all these strange calls. He left a message on my phone, I saved it just in case I needed to give it to the police or the BBB. The numbers that I have received calls from are as follows: 714-333-0107, 714-482-3318.
I recieved a call from (714)-482-3318 on my cell phone last week. I was at work and could not take the call. They called me at work. I hung up on them and told them never to call me there again. They called my house, then my cell phone again. I asked if there was anyone else in that office I could speak to because there was a huge language barrier. They put me on the phone with someone with an even thicker accent. They tried to tell me that I had charges pending in the court house against my name and social security number, then tried to tell me to call another number and talk to a Kevin Lloyds. I told him no and he began to argue with me. I hung up on him and he called back 3 more times. Do not even entertain these people!

I contacted California states attorney that have no record... this is a total SCAM>>>DO NOT BELIVE
