I was getting called by this number everyday and finally picked up the call and talked to the caller. This is a construction company, that specializes in remodels, that is based in Anaheim, CA. They called and when I picked-up the phone they start off by say "Remember me from when we talked in September? You where so nice to me and I have an offer for you". I told them I was a renter and to take me off their list. They use to call multiple times a day everyday, I have yet to receive another call yet (fingers crossed). My advice pick-up the phone and tell them you rent. If you are a renter you are not authorized to make improvements, if they can't make money they should stop calling.
I have gotten this call several times 714-569-2278. I pick up the phone and there is dead silence...I hang up
right away. Caller ID says "city of org"....this has to be a scam. Hang up fast or don't even pick up.
this is a scary caller....caller ID says "city of orng"....if you pick up and say hello, no answer.
they might be checking if anyone is home to rob...don't know anything else except they call at least once a week.
Funny that I get a call from this number on both my home phone and my business number. I picked up the phone this time and decided not to say anything. On the other end the guy just said "Hello, Hello, Hello" and hung up.
The caller ID read: "City of ORNG" I also thought it read "Orange" until I actually took time to read it. I called it back, got a recording saying that the call had been transferred to a voice message service but the person's mail box was full. It has to be done by computer, or - perhaps - there really are people on this planet that would waste their time an effort to do stuff like that. I know when we were kids we would call people ONCE IN A WHILE to ask if their refrigerator was running, and when they answered that it was, we would tell them to catch it before it runs out of the house. Back then it was fun, however the way some people use the telephone today, it IS a WEAPON! And not for good. Looks like I tell AT and T that I want a new number because of harassing phone calls and give them the number of the "City of Orng."
