I got a voicemail along the same lines! In April 2014 They said they got a default judgement against me in California in2010 for a loan defaulted in 2007. They claimed I'd waived my right to mediation and that I should call them back otherwise they'd proceed to levy my back account. He claimed to have hired PIs and knew my bank and that I wouldn't be able to get another bank account for 7 years. They also left a similar message on my mother's voicemail, but added they'd file against her credit too, even tho she's not a cosigner. I had a complete panic attack and was getting ready to file bankruptcy...
Are all their claims false? Have they ever sued anyone or is it 100% scare tactics?
