Called this morning and it only rang TWICE! Even if they were legit, c'mon....TWO rings and you expect someone to answer? Crazy. Of course, the call never got to the answering machine for me to make any identification. Based on the comments here, this will be blocked.
AMEN! My outgoing msg said something to that effect for awhile ("If you are not family or friends, and we did not contact you, than please leave your name, address and phone number so we can send you a bill for costing our time, violating our privacy and violating the Do Not Call list") I laughed at the one telemarketer who said, "Well I can see you are an attorney..." HA HA HA! That did get rid of a lot of them (as well as simply answering my telephone with, "Who is calling" (Not, 'Hello", Not, "Hi") followed by a curt, "What's your full company name and address?" CLICK...Chickensh*ts always hang up - guess they don't want my bills. Oh well.....
3rd call in 3 days .. answered .. Asked for Mr or Mrs Angry as Hell. I asked who is this.. he said Direct source.. asked about what he said that we discussed in the past about a mortgage. I asked when.. he said again in the past. I then asked where are they located he said Dallas. I then asked for address and he hung up..
By them saying we discussed in the past they must think they get around the DNC. Can't do much unless I get more info about them.. well I will be checking...
I get at least 2 calls a day from them, listing is Buena Park, CA.
I have asked not to be called again.
When I did answer, they said they were with Direct Source for mortgages.
I am on the dnc and want them to stop bothering me!
