Well I have AT&T and the telemarketers are smarter than they are....they can get around AT&T's own equipment. I've had caller id show my own number on my phone's display screen, operator/information (5551212). I was getting 40 calls a day several at 12:30 am 2:00am it's because i just let it rinig. I think these losers are paid on whether we pick up or not,,,that's the only thing I can think of...because if you do answer they hang up, if you call the number back it's not working. I finally had to block anyone but who I've input into my non-blocked numbers other than those no one gets thru they get a recording that I will not accept their call. the problem with this is it has made MY HOME PHONE silent. ALL BECAUSE AT&T, THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY WORTHLESS. AT&T It's their equipment they should be able to figure out how to stop this ...after all there are virtually millions of us that complain about this. The DNC Registry should be renamed to Do Call Anytime you want and here's a new list of suckers. You can block a number but all they do is use another number from their endless list of numbers
Have the same issue. Something about an Edison rebate and blah blah. I have told them to remove my phone number and that I was not interested. I get a phone call every other day.
