I got an "arrest" call today. So. . I posted their number on all my social media, and we blew up their phones for hours, hundreds of people calling. They finally stopped answering.
This is the automated message I received to my cell phone:
We have received a legal case against you and for that reason. You will be getting arrested from your physical address or your work place. If you need any further information you can reach me at 714-294-2561. See you in the court house.
I called the number back and was told to have my attorney present before any of my questions would be answered. The gentleman, who after I continued to ask, identified himself as Al Brown, Senior Representative.
I just got the same phone call and thank goodness for your information as i have been a nervous wreck in fear of going to jail. Thank you God this is a scam as i know i dont have any debts out there that would put me in jail immediatly.
I got the message on 6/25 from 714-576-5870. Never said who they were calling for or where they were from Just that "You have been named as a primary suspect and to call them at the number listed - ended the message with "See you in the courthouse". While I knew it was a scam - I feel bad if some elderly person gets this and calls because they think they are in trouble.
I received a call from John Hill law firm stating I need to respond back or else someone will come to my job or home to arrest me. They didn't ask for a name when they called. They just left that message. This is a total scam!!! wWhen I called the number back and block my number it was a man from India with a message to call back beacuse their busy with other cases. This is a scam!!!!!!!!!!
