Yeah this company is a total scam. I get multiple calls every week, each one is from a different telemarketeer and it is hysterical to listen to the different types of messages that get left. They range from messages designed to panic you by saying you are non compliant to saying nothing but just leaving a phone number for callback with the promise of giving my company thousands of dollars every month in saved processing fees.
I have repeatedly asked to be taken off their call lists but of course this is ignored. The couple of times I have spoken to someone live- it sounds like some kind of boiler room going on in the background- very unprofessional. After reading the reviews from various sources online- I wouldn't do business with this company, ever
Allen Fortier called our customer service department saying we had sent him a $12,000 check and wanted to talk to whoever was responsible for credit card processing. My staff told him she would have to take a message. He wouldn't give his company name.
Google search shows this is called US Merchants and they do credit card processing.
If they were trying to sell their "reputable" business, why lie to my customer service staff just to get through to the appropriate person?
My staff transferred this person into my voice mail here at my company.
The caller said, Hi Kathleen, this is Hollis. Give me a call back at 714-827-7000 ext 190
that was it- so before I called I googled and found out that it is us merchant services. Since we are an online retailer many merchant services-processors are trying to get our business and get ignored. That is probably why they dont say what company they are from.
Just received a call from this company. They said I needed to call this number because I was reported as being "non-compliant" Thank you for posting these kind of forums.
I received a call/voicemail from this number. The caller said she is with USMS, and that she is the merchant police for Visa/Master card, and the call was in regards to our company's interchange compliance with our visa/Master card account, except my company does not use either one of those credit cards!
