Incoming call said it was from a payphone. I knew 714 was orange county. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. I know scammers can make the caller I'd look like it's from someone else. I blocked my call and called back it rang and rang until it stopped ringing. No one answered but then I heard a loud pitch like I was dialing a fax #. It certaintly not a payphone. This is an ID thieft ring. Beware
Guy claiming to be Anthony from Security Dept. of Windows Operating System started to ask me questions about my computer. I told him he was out of his ******* mind and hung up
Received call today....told me to open my computer - i knew it was a scam but went along with it at first...(he thought he had a live one!) - he said that i had a problem inside my computer....I told him he had a problem inside his f....ing head!
got a call from714-999-9103, my caller ID showed "pay phone" the man had a heavy Asian accent and told me he is calling in regards to my Computer. I told him that I don't own a Computer and he hung up! LOL
I have been getting these calls on a regular bases about once a week and i always tell them the same but they keep on calling
I picked up on this number buts its just an automated IRS voicemail... no number to call back. Has anyone else figured out what benefit they have leaving voicemails scaring the [***] out of people about a lawsuit with IRS?
