Got the call from Bufflo, NY a few minutes ago. Thick Asian accent. Said he was with "National Grand Company Center". Said me and a partner would have to go to Mandeville, LA to pick up our prize package along with 150 others who entered around Christmas. I have no recollection of filling anything out. He said he'd email me and his boss would call me. He never stated my name and never mentioned my email to confirm. Extremely sketchy. The company name only comes up on Google with scam warning websites such as this one. There is a 0% chance that this is real. Only stayed on the phone the whole time because he was getting mad that I couldn't understand him. Pretty sweet vacations if they were real .... but their not.
Foreign dirtbags,I just got called, fake vacation scam,I played with him for awhile,he got very frustrated with my mental and speech issues(fake of course). When he finally caught on,(not the sharpest tool in the shed),he was livid! Started cursing me out in English and some weird foreign language, finally hung up on me,how dare he? Maybe I raised his stress level/blood pressure and shortened his life a tiny, little bit,(hope so!). Ahh! Sweet victory! Hey,I'm retired, everybody needs a hobby.
So I constantly get calls from this number. The guy had a thick Indian accent. What I got out of him was something about talking to him at Christmas at the mall (which if I even go to the mall during that time, I make a huge point of not talking to anyone due to this exact same b.s.). So I let him know he's running a scam, I'm calling the police and I'm reporting the harassing phone calls. He didn't like that too much so he called me back three more times from different numbers from different states!!! These guys just don't give up.
I'm from Mandeville and I was just called. Never answered but I should have. Should have asked them specific questions just to play with them.... nah I have better things to do
I'm from Mandeville, LA and he said I'd have to travel to mandeville to pick up my prize package, then called me the name of one of my dead relatives out from Houston which was the point where I can confirm it is 100% scam.
