Got the call from Bufflo, NY a few minutes ago. Thick Asian accent. Said he was with "National Grand Company Center". Said me and a partner would have to go to Mandeville, LA to pick up our prize package along with 150 others who entered around Christmas. I have no recollection of filling anything out. He said he'd email me and his boss would call me. He never stated my name and never mentioned my email to confirm. Extremely sketchy. The company name only comes up on Google with scam warning websites such as this one. There is a 0% chance that this is real. Only stayed on the phone the whole time because he was getting mad that I couldn't understand him. Pretty sweet vacations if they were real .... but their not.
claims its from buffalo. I missed the first call. I never called them back and then I picked up the second call but it was silence on the end of the line.
Second time I received a call from them in two days. Didn't answer, just blocked. Funny thing is I just got a new phone and new number which has not been given out to anyone except family. These scammers are trolling numbers, obviously.
Called my cell. Shows Buffalo, NY. Male voice, said "This is Michael, how are you?" I responded by asking How can I help you, and he hung up. Heard lots of background noise like it was a call center. Michael didn't bother to tell me what he was calling for. Oh well.
