Funny, $530 is exactly what they said they would "settle" with me for. The # they called me from is 405-569-6003 which comes up as Mill Valley, CA. I called these people back a few times just to mess with them. It felt good. I pretended like I was still researching the debt but really I just wanted to hear them stutter and fall over themselves. Eventually they would hang up on me after putting me on hold. I told them I went to their web site and it looks like a four year old did it and the woman put me on hold to "research the web site I'm referencing". Haha. All of a sudden they don't know about their own company's web site? They're not real bright and I hope karma comes back on them big time.
There is a guy calling from this number saying my son owes money and is wanting his personal info . my lawyer got on the phone 3 way with this man and he then stated i wass calling him ,
Got a call from this number from a lady with a Boston accent saying her name is O'Conner. Apparently she is from the fraud department of my bank and is trying to "make a debt right" before it goes back to my city. What going back to my city means, she couldn't explain. I just found it weird that my bank is trying to collect for another company.
I doubt the caller was from "your bank". This sounds like a scam - especially since the caller used that strange term - more like a debt collector call.
