I have received several calls from the 716-799-8012 number but never any messages. The concern I have is these calls are being made to my cell which is a number that is not given out on a regular basis. I have no idea who these people are??
Why do we go to varied lengths to maintain our privacy when anyone can access our information without our knowledge.

One of the criteria for making this website is the number of complaints generated by consumers who perceive they've been abused.
FBCS' website used to brag that owners James & Joseph Neary worked their way up from being debt collectors to running the business. I think that explains the many complaints. Apparently Joe and James know how to collect debts. The question is why didn't they pick up any knowledge of the FDCPA on the way up?

AND NOW I RECEIVED PAPERS THAT I HAVE TO APPEAR IN COURT WHAT DO I DO ABOUT THIS CAN I ASKED FOR PROOF AND LEGAL DOCUMENTS ALL IT SHOWS IS THAT I OWE 842.00 TO A GAS COMPANY DO YOU HAVE SOMETHING SOME INFORMATION I CAN USE --THANK YOU - SINCERELY PATTI
Is the debt yours? Is it over the SOL of your state?
If it is not yours you have two options at this point
1) Contact a lawyer and have them defend you.
or
2) request proof of discovery.
At this point asking for the validation of the debt is not going to work
If the debt is yours try and arrange a settlement unless the SOL is out in your state.
If the SOL is out go to court and tell the judge that it's over the SOL and it should get dismissed. But by all means if you feel this debt is not your make shore you show up for court or they will win by defalt. If you do go to court bring all documations with you to show that you don't owe or it is over the SOL.

Got a call from this number to my fairly new cell phone number this afternoon. They did not leave a message (my voice mail says your have reached Dale).
I called the number, got their recording saying they were a collection agency, I waited (did not press either of the offered options), someone calling himself Doug answered. I did not give him my name, just the phone number. Also told him I only recently got the number, I then asked for the name of the person they were trying to reach. He told me it was a William something. He actually seemed nice and said he had removed my number. We shall see if he told the truth.
Since this was a call to my cell phone, only the number shows up, no name.
