I have received several calls from the 716-799-8012 number but never any messages. The concern I have is these calls are being made to my cell which is a number that is not given out on a regular basis. I have no idea who these people are??
Why do we go to varied lengths to maintain our privacy when anyone can access our information without our knowledge.
answer machine, want to was answer to name if that person but i hang up because to know anybody and i have caller id did show the number and went to yellow business no business name it was a landline phone number.
Received a call this morning on a business line from 716-799-8010 asking for Adam Aldredge acct #1006016810. I pressed 1 as instructed if I was Adam Aldreged just to advise this is an incorrect number. After 2 minutes of listing to "someone will be with you shortly", I hung up. There is no one in this office by that name nor Maria Aldredge who Progress Energy calls for each month. I have advised Progress Energy several times that this person is not here and the number they call is a business.
Calls morning and night. Claim to be the original lender who made a small
business loan, now mostly paid off. They threaten and continue to call my son who had nothing to do with this loan but same initials; different middle name and have somehow obtained his SS# which they quote to me over the phone. Have called me a liar and then hang up. When I call back they have "left for the day". Nuisance at least and may be violating FDCPA. I'm tired of it all and am hiring a lawyer, filing a complaint with BBB, etc.
Who ever Glen is he works for a collection agency..!! Trust me..!!
A collection agency is regulated by Laws.. and they break this Laws all the time.. Because the Federal Govt. will not help. So you can also call your States Attorney Generals Office and have them investigate these agencies. Take the time to call them ASAP..!!
These agencies change their names to a false Company that you would think it was that company.. Which is totally Illegal...!!!
