I got a call on 10/8/14 from this number. He stated his name was Officer Jack Morgan from the "Justice Criminal Investigation." He said that my SSN was under investigation for criminal activity (??) and that either I or my legal advisor had to call him back IMMEDIATELY with my SSN (shouldn't he already have this?) and bank account information (WHY???) to clear up the investigation. I think he threatened me with going to jail or something if I didn't but it was hard to make out as he had a very difficult accent to understand.
Suffice to say, I was a bit worried at the beginning of this message for about 10 seconds but the accent and the request for SSN and bank account quickly assuaged my fears. I of course haven't called him back or disclosed any information, and am reporting him now!
This guy had the gall to call me back and left another voice message again, this time more urgent and insistent that if he had to call again it would be to "911" and he promised I'd be behind bars. We called him back this time, and he stated his name was Sam Nelson, though his voice and accent were the same as the voice mails I received, and that it was his supervisor who was making the calls.
Yes definitely a scam....ive recieved this call n immediately I knew it was trouble...... I get calls like this all the time from different #s but its always east indian accents say there names are michael or jon wilson or whatever n always wanting bank info and threats of jail and court.....smh losers!!! good thing for google lol!
I guess this guy is now switching his tactics because i got a call today and he also had an indian accent, he did not state my name or any other information about in the V-Mail. He said his name was Attorney Richard Blackstone from USA Financial Crime and Investigation, and that some company has told him i owe them money and to call him back so that this matter will not be taken to me "Local court house". just letting everyone know.
