just got a call on my cellphone for my husband-guy says his name is jonathan berry and he has received a request under his name and social security number to sign a document for a claim that an office is looking to file against you. Goes on to say I will be stopping by to get that signature so be sure to be available-you have been notified and are on my schedule so I will be seeing you Monday February 15th; then advises to call the party that issued your notice if you have questions and gives some bogus number and claim number. Obviously a total scammer!!! I mean really-doesn't even identify what company he's with, or what "office" or "party" he is referring to-big red flag!!! Thank you so much to everyone that has left comments regarding this-they were very helpful and kept me calm when I heard this message just now!
Received two calls from this number stating I am going to be getting served with papers on Monday to either my place of employment or home, no later than two pm and I better have my state id. Is this just being said to me to be scared, or is it legit?
Recieve many calls from a blocked number. I use trapcall and this is the number that comes up 7168288902. Them man called with different names, won't tell me who he works for why I'm being served. All he says is to be home in two days to be served. He doesn't even know my address. When I try to call back I get blocked. If I use a different phone it's always busy. Something not right about this
I also received a call from this number telling me to be prepared to be served with papers and to be available on a certain date(where? at home? at work? what time?) with my ID. When I try to call the 800 number provided in the message, the call will not go through. Has anyone actually been served by this mystery person?
I received a call at work that I will be served legal papers for a claim from the company I owe money from (voicemail has vague details) and that he will show up at my home and then my work and I must have a valid I.D. to receive and sign. He told me to call (844) 811-8992 to call the claimant directly and I'm about to see who it is.
i've been getting calls from a blocked number with the same message from a curtis donovan about how i need to be home at a certain time to be served or they were going to come to my place of business. has called me twice today to "remind me" that i need to be at home to be served. i am to call back an 855-977-2077 number but when i google it to see what company he is with there is no information. that sent up all kinds of red flags since there is no company associated with this number anywhere. guess we will wait to see if he shows up.
