This number called my house several times - said they were a debt collector and left the number 1-866-756-6801 and said for me to speak to a Mr. Yohn. I finally called the call-back number from my cell phone to let them know they had the wrong person (never left them my cell phone number to return a call), as I knew that I was not in any collection agency. Low-n-behold, I should've known . . . now I'm getting the calls on my cell phone. I programmed my cell phone to reject any calls from this number.
Received a recorded message just before noon today CST from Mr Yan stating that if I am not _____(unintelligble name)that I should hang up or disconnect. To remove my number I should call 1-866-756-6801 if I am not (unitelligible name)Caller notifies of 3 second delay and states "By continuing to listen you acknowledge that you are (unintelligle name). You should not listen to this message as it contains personal information regarding (unitelligible name)" Caller then identifies themselves as Mr. Yan from TCS and that this is a debt collection call. Mr. Yan then gives 1-866-756-6801 as the number to call regarding an "Important business matter". Message length is over one minute. I receive calls from this number sporadically and no one ever speaks when answered. This is the first actual voicemail received. Don't believe I should have to call to prove I am not (unitelligible name). Seems suspicious. 717-243-6637 traces back to J Boen, 626 W. Louther Street, Carlisle, PA 17013. Go figure?
First I got a recorded call looking for someone named "Joel". It says "TCS" on my caller ID. I stayed on the line and a woman answered. I told her this has been my phone number for 10 years and there was no "Joel" here. About 20 minutes later I got another call looking for "Amber". This time I got the recording previously mentioned where it says if you stay on the line you acknowledge that I am that person. After a minute the line disconnected. I called back 717-243-6637 and no answer. This is a local number, in fact my parents have a 717-243-**** number. I then called the 866 number and talked to a woman with bad accent and told her to stop calling my number. She had caller ID and already knew my name and number. She told me this...so WHY ARE THEY CALLING. If anyone can properly punish these people then I encourage it. I would recommend ANYTHING that will really get their attention!!
I keep getting calls from these people asking for a guy named justin and they get really nasty with me and tell me they won't stop calling until they get justin..... well I don't plan on changing my name anytime soon so stop calling! They are burning up my cellular minutes.
