Got a message from "Mrs. Howard" from Met-ed telling me about my supply charges.. I called back to let them know I had PPL. They knew I had PPL and had my name and address . the man on line said Ill have to tell my manager about the reason, they said met ed and not ppl. Which sounded like a line of BS because he then tried to sell me energy plan. Bait and switch. Got me to call back to say I didn't have met ed.
Yes...I just got a call from a person who was laughing in my ear as she "professionally" answered the phone when I picked up. I DO have Met Ed--but I knew from her manner she was NOT from Met Ed. Geesh--there's a new batch of scamsters every day!

Answered but didn't say hello...just listened - 20 second of hearing ...nothing. Then hear the robocall saying from Met Ed, been trying to contact me (yeah right)...gave a phone number that I'm to call and don't forget to have our last met ed account bill so we can discuss the billing. What a bunch of crap. One of the many things I don't understand is why the REAL Met Ed doesn't do something about the scammer using their business name and their earned reputation. And why isn't telemarketing be a federal law to not be allowed anymore so the scammers will be out for business. Oh man, I could go on and on...will choose not to.
they are trying to get you to take Met-Ed as your supplier for generation & transmission charge. there are a lot of companies cheaper than they are or PP&L.
