Got a new phone number that hadn't been recycled. The next day received a call from 718-033-8531. Unsettling that in less than 24hours of the change, scammers had this information. The majority of my friends/family hadn't even been notified of the change

Same here. Got a Spanish answering machine telling me to press 1 to View your message press 2 to delete or something like that.

I D says United States.  ?? Could it be a political call.
