WOW! They must be a mutual friend 'cause We got a call from this # too!! (L O L)
Really though, I bet it was from a Telemarketing Call Center, where they make calls to a block of #'s, from a block of phone lines that do not allow incoming calls (cheaper phone service) and take the first one that answers on up to 4 rings. Then the unanswered calls get dropped and the robot-calling device goes on to the next group of numbers. Over and over and over ........ and over again.
The sucker who answers the call then gets their # added to a list of active phone #'s, where a real person (not a machine) will answer. They are now DOOMED to receiving calls from every Telemarketer (TM), scammer, crook and thief who has something to sell or trade, or anyone else who wants to steal our money and identities, ..... and at every hour of the day and night. The laws are of no consequence what so ever to these low-lifes.
Our government is powerless to handle the overwhelming tidal wave of these kind of calls so it up to us to handle the problem by ourselves again ..... as usual. We need to keep informed of all these #'s so the rest of us do not have go through the hassel ourselves. We can help each other fight these scumbags.

There are so many calls coming in to so many people I can't help but think there's more to it than simple telemarketing,
considering the lust for information.
