I have been getting calls on a regular basis from this number, which I never answer. I finally blocked them, which is easy to do on an iphone...simply click on the 'I" icon in the upper right hand corner and then scroll down to "Block this Caller". Done!
I agree with moonshine maker's post dated 1-9-15. I don't answer the call if I don't recognize it. I also disconnected my answer machine and for several months now I get less calls per week. My telephone service will only block 20 or so calls but that service they provide doesn't solve the problem. It treats the blocked calls as working numbers and your number is then shared, sold, whatever, I really don't know exactly but I continue to get the robo calls. Sometimes, if I feel up to it, I will answer it with a disguised, confused voice and the person on the other end answers. We live in a sinful cruel world where even our identity cannot be protected. We have to be concerned with scammers using our SS numbers and filing false IRS refunds. The funds then go into scammers accounts. Good luck fixing that mess if it happens. A fix would be for a red flag to go off at IRS if electronic funds account is different from the previous year. Told can't be done.
