(718) 301-1102 Called me today and hung up, left no message. I do not know this person. When I looked this number up on Switchboard.com it was said to be a Landline from New York for Xo New York, Inc. I do not know this number, never subscribed to anything and my phone numbers even been verified to be on the National Do Not Call List!
Calls and hangs up without saying anything, when I try to call back it takes about 20 seconds before doing anything and then goes to a busy signal. It is annoying because they call all the time.
The calls from this number started today. So far, we've gotten FOUR in the space of 2 hours. The first three times, no one responded. Before the fourth call came through, I had done my homework (found this site). When the fourth call came through, someone DID actually say "hello" back to me in a broken accent. I didn't even give him a chance to say anything back (though he did know my first name.
I decided to go with a harsh and firm approach and immediately told him to "STOP CALLING HERE. This number is on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY. You are harrasing us. DO NOT call here anymore". He tried to interrupt me several times but I just continued to talk over him and then hung up the phone when I was finished with what I had to say. I hope the calls stop because it's already getting old. Our number is both unlisted and on the Do Not Call registry.
