Just received a call from this number, and answered because I thought it was a friend from New York. This is the second time I received a call from this same number, and it was "the second notice" on my car insurance something or other, and that if I didn't respond, my file would be closed. I knew it was a fake because I don't drive...I don't even have a driver's license. The voice listed two options, 1- speak to a rep, or 2-remove self from list. Found the same name as mentioned above when I googled.
saw a missed call from the number on my phone, when i call back it says the number is disconnected. Have gotten the calls about car insurance as mentioned above before, and i thought i had told them to not call me again (that number appeared as 000-000-000 though). maybe the same scam?
