I just received a call from them but did not answer as I did not recognize the number. There was no message left. They then called less than 5 minutes later. I answered the call and it was Time Warner Cable calling to ask me to take a survey about their service on the telephone. What a joke. They have screwed me over since I signed up with them and I will never go back to them. They are not friendly or accommodating, which they claim to be. Regardless, it is an automated system that will hang up after several rings with no answer.
I was sitting at my computer this afternoon, drinking a cup of coffee and browsing the internet, when my cell phone rang. Naturally, I was alarmed. I looked at the caller ID, and it said "718-670-0200." I did not recognize that number, so I did not answer the phone. Instead, I went to the Google, and entered that number, which is how I found this website. Although the phone did stop ringing after a few moments, I don't know if they will call back, and if they do, what they want, or why, or how frequently they will want it, or when their desire for it might be abated. At this point, I'm basically at a loss as to what happened this afternoon as appertaining to this mysterious phone call, and I would be very much appreciative of any help or advise.
I got a call yesterday from this number and didn't pick up. I found out thanks to this website that it was TWC ( I am a customer). Today they called again and I picked up: They were calling to tell me that it was the end of my 1-year promotional offer for internet service and that from now on my bill is going to increase (by $10/month from what they said).
