They can kiss my butt I reported them to the attorney general they call my home 10 times a day they even called at 11 pm at night with some recording. When you call them back you stay on hold forever and never get anyone when you do you get some rude [***] person on the phone. This company keeps calling. I do not have any debt in collection, I don't have any late payments. When I answer the phone it is a recording. It says "press 1 to speak to the agent". When I do, another recording says "office is currently closed".
Oxford used to call me all the time, on a Cingular bill. I never had a Cingular Cell phone. Plus, since I work at home, if I have a customer here, I can't let their message play, since it sounds like it is my bill.
Here is my Solution. Get Skype. Then get thier $30 a year service, for unlimited calls to the US, and Canda. Please note you have to call from your computer. A headset with a mic works great. I ended up using it so much, I got a bluetooth earbud. Now, add then to your contacts. Put in thier phone number as 1 718 684 9404,,,,,,,,1. You can use whatever number they have for you to return the calls, but note the commas after the phone number. That pauses your call long enough for thier answerin message to play. The 1 ask for a real person. Now, everytime they call, just fire up your Skype, and dial thier number. No reason to talk, or even put on your headset. Leave them in silence. After they hang up, one click of the mouse and "presto!!!" you are calling again, :D
Best part?? Skype is VIOP, and there is no phone number to call back.

Skype has changed thier programs and the commas are no longer needed. Just put in the Oxford number, and an operator will answer after a while. Don't let this interrupt whatever you are doing. You can call back with a click on the mouse, :D. Now, how do we get everyone to call on the same time and date? Or better yet, everyone call at 5:00 pm your time. Means it would start on the West coast, and go on for 3 hours, till it got to the East coast, :D They haven't bothered me in a while, but I an calling them now, for all the people that have been harrassed, and can't fight back. Oh, oh, forgot to turn on my earbud, :O Well, have to try over an over! Technology is yours, use it as your friend!
About 4 times a day. I once picked up the phone, and made the STUPID mistake of giving out my social to this dude Colson Dempsey there to clear up - of course, came out they were looking for some guy who used to have my phone number. So it should be end of story now, right? Guess not: 3 months later - 4 calls a day from these dicks.
