I keep getting calls 3-5 times a day - from the (718) number and also a NJ (609) number. They hang up in the voicemail so I have no idea who this is or what they want. Beyond irritating!!
These jerks started calling me yesterday, called twice, I didn't answer, let it go to the machine, they left no message. After the second call yesterday I knew they were going to be a pain in the a**, so I blocked the number. Sure enough today they called again 2 times, but the call was blocked. Caller ID showed U P S.
718-705-0624 called today and asked for a bastardized version of my legal name, since it was not my legal name I said no. They said the person they asked for would be charged in court with falsifying a legal document.. If they call again I'll let them know that I know they're a scam.
My family members and I were receiving calks from this number. All of the calls I Recieved showed up on my caller I.D. As, " U P S " . The first time I answered and said hello, they hung up, so I instinctively blocked the number.
Then, they started calling family members explaining they were trying to reach me to " SERVE " Legal Documents. This , of course, upset my family and they were " worried " about what was going on. So, I called the UPS number back and they explained that I had to call, 1-855-366-5231 .that number connects you to, R & J Consulting. They explained to me that I had an outstanding debt with an Aspen C.C. Issued through Compu-Bank (?) dating back to 2005. They claimed to have sent me a debt Collection letter in the Mail, which I sincerely Never Recieved.
Long story short, they wanted to settle this matter Over the phone or they would take me to court. At this point, I asked them very nicely to take me to court.
My question to those who have Recieved similar calls from BOTH numbers is this ; if you spoke to the people at BOTH numbers, did you find that both, the Recetionast and " Mr. Riley " sounded the same as the persons you reached at the 1-855 number? I'm convinced they are the same.
Lastly, does anyone know the specific name of the company calling from 718-705-0624?. I'd very much like to sue them for calling my family members and discussing personal information.

These A-holes called me with the same horse-[***] scam about 'legal documents' to be served on me. I told them that is very interesting, since I am a LAWYER, ex-Prosecutor and ex-Assistant States Attorney, I'd be happy to see the 'alleged' documentation and in the meantime if they bother me again with this crap I will hunt them down and charge them with CRIMINAL CONSPIRACY amongst a host of other charges and hit them with a shitstorm of woes they'll never recover from.
They hung up and I've never been bothered since. Go figure.
I just recieved a call today. I told the dude that Keeta wasn't me and hit me with the story that i had falsified legal documents and that a summons needed to be given to me. My question is who summons over the phone and who gives that much personal info to the wrong person. I told the guy to mail me a letter and he claims they want to call first to handle the matter before it goes to court. yeah right. he said he wanted me to call a different number so i told him to call back and leave a voicemail on my phone.
