Called and claimed to be from Global Energy Solar. Hung up on me when I pressed for more company information, and why they were using a cell phone number for business.
Call from (718) 839-0638. My Hiya app didn't block it. So I answered. A prerecorded message about saving money on Eversource electric bill. I've had enough of this so I pressed 1 to talk to someone. The voice on the other and was obviously a male from India.
I said "stop calling my [***] phone". I waited a couple seconds he responded by saying " [***] you, you son of a [***] you go [***] your mother".
I responded "now I know you're a scammer because no professional company would respond that way". I hung up.
When the hell is the government going to step in on this [***]? Absolutely everyone that I know gets called up to five times a day with all sorts of scam phone calls. Everything from solar panels to saving money on your electric bill to there's a virus on your computer!
Another thing that amazes me is that my AT&T phone under contract gets badgered constantly. While my second phone which is an AT&T Go phone… never gets called ever!!!! Why is that?
This number called several times with no answer. All within minutes apart! The last time the phone called in, I put it on speakerphone and kept saying hello. There was a man with a UK accent talking about global energy solar. I told him to stop calling me. He started to yell into the phone, which prompted me to yell back "GET A LIFE AND A [***] CLUE! STOP CALLING ME".... You don't call a NYC woman and be disrespectful after she politely tells you NO. Boy... you are churning a toxic sludge.
I blocked this # months ago, but find they call about once a month; recycling this old number when all the new numbers they call on fail to hit their mark also! They called on June 18, July 26, August 18 and today!
I finally blocked this call. It's called here 7 times - no message. It just blows my mind - page after page of complaints about these calls on 800notes and still no one does anything to stop the calls.
