I got the same call as most of the rest here. I could not hear the female voice very well but I was pretty sure it was a fake anyway. I googled it and ended up here.
Got a call from this number on my cell phone saying my suntrust bank card had been "Locked" to press one to contact the security department. When You do you cannot get a person they promted you to enter your bank card number. This has to be a scam.
Yep, just had a call to my cell form this number at 2:25, a computerized voice asking me to enter my Suntrust account number... Might have worked but my Suntrust acct is closed. Called Knoxville police, sad to say they report there is little they can do to keep up with this, best they can do is try to educate people to resist these phishing attempts. Perhaps I'll also let Suntrust know, maybe they can track number to the fraudsters.
