The give-away that this was a robo-call was the extended pause between when I picked up the call and the start of the message. The message was spoken by a "cultured" white male voice, that said "Hello". A comment at another call reporting site indicated that this was a "senior phishing" operation.
This number has turned up some odd companies that seem to have used it, or even are still using it: Primera Clase Taxi of Lowell, MA, and Empire Astoria Electric Co., New York, in Astoria, N.Y. Another check on this number brought up the location Woodside, N.Y. -- no name of a company, though.
V6251300140026871352 - That came up on my caller ID. Went to Comcast login and got the 718-932-5555 number, listed in Queens, NY. Called the Queens number and got a "the number you have reached is not in service" recording.
This number started calling yesterday. caller ID says "Clase P". I don't answer, they don't leave a message. they called today ay 11:30, 11:35 and 12:01. I just added them to my call block.
You can try signing up online on the Do Not Call List. I did some time ago, now got this call myself, which I didn't answer.
Call your phone service company and request that that number be blocked. Of course, it was briefly mentioned on a local news channel that individuals get around any don't-call list by creating another number. I just recently bought a Panasonic phone set for home use and it has a way of blocking numbers using the phone. That's what I will do with this number.
